Quinlan Community Library to host Vaccine Clinic
The Hunt County Health Department will be hosting a vaccine clinic Quinlan Community Library Wednesday, August 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. The event is for kids and teenagers with Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Private Insurance for those going into the 7th grade or higher. Adult vaccinations are also available for no-insurance and private insurance. Maria Alegria-Servin, a HCHD nurse, has encouraged others to attend the event. "This event is for all needing vaccines for school or just want to be updated on them," Alegria-Servin said.
People wishing to get vaccinated will need to present their health insurance card, as well as cash or check. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted. Vaccine records will also need to be provided as well. The Quinlan Community Library is located at 401 Panther Path, and the event will take place on the south end of the ACE Building.
